Before launching her own practice, Alicia served as Laboratory Director at Phyto-Farma Labs, one of New York’s first third-party cannabis testing facilities. Under her leadership, the lab tested products sold during the state’s inaugural dispensary openings — a milestone that helped launch New York’s adult-use market. Her earlier experience spans environmental and pharmaceutical testing, giving her a foundation in quality, compliance, and precision that now drives her consulting work.

At Hex Botanic, Alicia partners with licensed organizations and entrepreneurs to strengthen the science behind their products — from formulation and regulatory guidance to quality assurance and education. She’s passionate about helping, learning, and teaching in equal measure, believing that the best industry outcomes come from collaboration, transparency, and curiosity.

Alicia also speaks regularly at industry and educational events on cannabinoid science, laboratory life, and women in STEM, offering insight with a dose of humor and approachability.

When she’s not knee-deep in data or advising clients, you’ll find her outdoors — hiking Hudson Valley trails, playing Dungeons & Dragons, or spending time with her dogs.
